Senior Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Clinical Program Solution (CPS) Research & Development (R&D) team.

• Drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications with a focus on best practices.
• Writing clean, efficient code, including unit/integration tests, and performing code/design reviews.
• Identifying, articulating, and resolving technical challenges while continuously improving code quality.
• Serving as a technical expert across multiple areas or complex features of the application.

We are looking for someone with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Development (Java preferred).
• Extensive experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL.
• Experience with document-based databases (e.g., Proficiency with Cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Knowledge of web front-end frameworks (Angular preferred).
• Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
