About the Role
You will be responsible for technical sourcing, process development, and product quality for signal delivery products. These critical electro-mechanical assemblies connect Teradyne instruments to the customer device.
Main Responsibilities:
- Technical sourcing and process development for signal delivery products.
- Product quality ownership throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Collaboration with internal engineering organizations to enable product design early in the design cycle.
Your Impact
You will use your manufacturing and supply base knowledge to influence product design, material selection, manufacturing methods, and critical specifications. Additionally, you will identify high-risk components/suppliers in the new product development process.
Requirements:
- BS in mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering.
- The ability to manage several projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
- Ability to travel up to 20% both domestic and international.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working level knowledge of the science of soldering, solder process controls.
- Experience with mechanical fixture design (poke yoke tooling).
