Substance Abuse Treatment Director

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of psychologists, social workers, and addiction counselors, providing clinical supervision and guidance.
2. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for clients based on individual needs.
3. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, CARF, and OSHA standards.
4. Monitor program outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
5. Build relationships with community partners and referral sources.
6. Collaborate with the administrative team to manage program budgets and billing processes.
7. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
8. Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

1. Master's or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, social work, or a related field.
2. Current CA state licensure: LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in substance abuse treatment, including leadership or supervisory roles.
4. Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
7. Familiarity with electronic health records and billing systems.
