This role will drive vendor management best practice implementation through data analysis and reporting. You'll assist in the dissemination of vendor management tools and resources and have responsibility for collecting and assessing data to ensure adherence to best practices, and track impact of vendor resets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Contract Summary approval process (e.g., no contracts are signed without SVP approval)
- Update vendor management playbook with guidance from Hub director and cross-functional stakeholder
- Maintain repositories or team sites for tools & references (e.g., repositories of QBRs, stakeholder mapping)
- Conduct maturity assessment of VMOs or equivalent vendor management functions within Ops business groups, identify capability and talent gaps and create plan to address them
- Provide advanced analytical support for vendor management business operations
- Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management
- Scan vendor baseline for risks / opportunities & put together plan to execute resets
- Coordinate with VMOs to collect vendor performance data and artifacts (e.g., QBRs)
- Assess vendor performance and support vendor managers in conducting resets through dissemination of toolkit
- Estimate investments/savings associated with vendor resets, as applicable
- Deliver insight for priority vendor performance; maintain vendor performance dashboard
- Monitor adherence to new processes and tools & tracking success of the hub through measuring specific impact and adoption metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned
