We are thrilled to introduce Luke Menard as the new Executive Director of the Branson Regional Arts Council, replacing Jim Barber who will be retiring at the end of September 2024 after serving seven and a half years.
Our board of directors recognized that finding a suitable replacement for Jim Barber would be a challenging task. However, they were confident that Luke's passion and enthusiasm for the arts align perfectly with our organization's mission and values.
Luke is an accomplished businessman and nationally known Branson entertainer, bringing extensive experience in the arts industry. He is deeply committed to fostering arts education and opportunities for the youth in our community.
In his role, Luke will lead the Branson Regional Arts Council forward, promoting and supporting the arts while continuing our commitment to exceptional artistic, cultural, and educational opportunities for our community.
The Branson Regional Arts Council was founded in 1965 and officially established 501(c)(3) non-profit status as 'Branson Arts Council, Inc.' Our mission is to create exceptional artistic, cultural, and educational opportunities for our community.
Financial support is provided by BRAC members, theatre patrons, private donors, as well as additional grant support from the Missouri Arts Council and other organizations.
Luke's background includes performing over 200 concerts annually with the world-renowned a cappella group Chapter 6, as well as being part of the Grand Jubilee show at Grand Country's Music Hall. He is also passionate about fostering creativity and artistic expression for all.
