We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at SecureTech. As a Malware Analysis Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the nation's Intelligence Community.
Job Description
You will conduct dynamic and static analysis of suspicious code to establish malicious capability and determine potential impact. You will also work closely with our team to monitor hosts and networks for analysis of malware execution & propagation methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze captured data, such as audit, log, network traffic, etc., to understand malware behavior.
- Employ tools, scripting languages, and leverage virtual machines/environments to analyze malicious code.
- Provide recommendations based on the results of malicious code analysis.
- Continually improve current malware analysis techniques and identify new ways to enhance malware identification best practices.
Requirements
A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience with malware analysis, plus two years of demonstrated experience with tools such as GHIDRA, SYSInternals, FireEye AX, or similar technologies. Additionally, at least one year of demonstrated experience with development of code in languages such as Python, Lua, C/C , Ruby, or similar.
Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or Level II certification (Net , Sec , CySA , etc.) is also required.
