Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Track Head Coach to lead our boy's team at East Lincoln Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in track and field, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work with students of varying skill levels.
The Track Head Coach will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing an instructional program in track and field. This includes providing leadership and support in administering the sport program, fostering a climate conducive to learning, and establishing and implementing an improvement process for the sport.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining professional work habits, communicating with parents and the educational community, and cooperating with the school principal and athletic director. Additionally, they will be required to develop positive relationships with participants, student body, faculty, parents, and community, as well as employ appropriate conduct during games and practices.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- HS Diploma or GED
- Coaching experience preferred
All coaches (volunteer or paid) must complete the required coaching courses on NFHS.com and obtain CPR certification. You must also complete your HR onboarding policies, HR screening (drug test and background check), and have a current health physical and TB test before being approved to work with student athletes.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Certifications Required:
- Fundamentals of Coaching
- Concussion Training
- CPR Certification
