Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of our rail systems by developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Lead the annual review and update of the Rail Accident Investigation Procedure and manage and oversee the Project's Safety Rules Compliance Program.
- Maintain and coordinate emergency preparedness standards for Operations and Maintenance and provide leadership and safety direction to Rail Operations and Maintenance teams.
Requirements
- Mandatory 8-10 years progressively responsible related experience in rail operations safety, including three (3) years supervision experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Rail operations, Rail Vehicles and associated Rail systems.
- General knowledge of rail systems of various kinds, including commuter, automatic rail systems and/or high-speed rail.
- Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) training and Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program.
