As the Director of Sports Medicine, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive sports medicine program.
Main Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing policies related to the sports medicine program.
- Coordinating the provision of medical services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment.
- Ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations related to medical care and safety.
- Leading clinical quality improvement initiatives and participating in peer review processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training in sports medicine.
- Experience as a team physician at the college/university level.
- Leadership experience in teaching and research in sports medicine.
