Employed Family Medicine Position
We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Mercy Health - Urbana Family Medicine & Pediatrics.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a rural healthcare setting, serving patients with diverse medical needs. The ideal candidate will be able to assess and evaluate patients, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers as necessary.
- Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories
- Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board and Mercy Health Springfield's Credentialing Board
- Coordinate patient care, assessments, counsel and advise patients regarding concerns
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives
