US Business Development Director for Linguistic Validation - Clinical

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Business Development Director to join our North American team. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in selling Clinical-Linguistic Validation services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets, expand our customer base, and report on factors influencing account strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet annual targets and grow our customer base.
- Monitor and adapt to changes in account strategies and budgets.
- Own and exceed annual assigned sales targets for new business growth.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of 3x annual target and ensure CRM and associated tools are up-to-date.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5-7 years of experience in localization sales, sales management, or sales director roles within the Localization Industry, focusing on Clinical and/or Linguistic Validation and eCoa.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influence skills to engage all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Demonstrable experience driving sales processes from planning to closure.
- Proven ability to develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of the localization process, including translation and workflow tools.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
