Job Title: VP, Commercial Banking Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a VP, Commercial Banking Officer. This role will be responsible for originating commercial/investment real estate loans and commercial/industrial non-real estate loans, managing loan portfolio, and cross-selling all other Bank products to deepen relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determines viability of commercial loan opportunities for the Bank.
- Cordinates with the Credit Department and the Commercial Loan Administrators in the overseeing of loan closings.
- Manages loan portfolio; Collects delinquent payments in collaboration with the Senior Commercial Banking Officer and Senior Credit Officer.
- Cross-sells all other Bank products to deepen relationships (Retail Banking, Residential Mortgage Lending, Cash Management, Wealth Management Departments).
- Participates in civic/community organizations in the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of commercial lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, and/or business development experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, and an ability to generate business referrals from Centers of Influence.
