Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Report Line
The Vice President (VP) of Accounting will report directly to the CFO while leading and managing all accounting functions related to the company's financial operations. This role requires a dynamic leader with experience in accounting for global operations, including financial reporting, compliance, audit management, cross-border tax issues, and modernizing financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of accounting, including cash management and reconciliation, financial reporting, and balance sheet management for multi-entity organization.
- Collaborate with Controller to enhance accounting functions and processes, including inventory procedures in a growing organization.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and consistent learning.
- Evaluate and implement a modern accounting system to support multi-entity international organization.
- Design and lead accounting teams across all entities while implementing shared services best practices.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors; manage preparation and support of all external audits.
- Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation.
- Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the CFO and other executives to develop financial strategies and support business growth.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of cash flow management, modeling, and forecasting.
- Manage complex accounting environments, M&A activities, and leading cross-functional teams while ensuring the highest level of financial integrity.
