Systems Analyst
The Applications Systems Analyst will be required to support the implementation and maintenance of systems within the Applications Services team. More specifically, supporting campus technologies for the following groups : University Advancement, Facilities, BCPD / Public Safety, Auxiliary Services, Athletics, and Campus Recreation. Additionally, the team supports the university's Enterprise Document Management system, and other university departments as needed. The position will report to an Applications Manager and be part of multiple technical teams chartered to deliver complex applications in support of the University's business needs. The position will be responsible for working on all aspects of the project lifecycle including analysis, design, installation, requirements development, integration, documentation, testing, and delivery. This is a hybrid onsite / remote position.
Specific responsibilities include :
- Gathering business and functional requirements through client engagements
- Documenting workflows and business processes
- Performing complex data analysis tasks
- Preparing test plans & scripts and executing test cases
- Conducting user training and developing training materials
- Providing system support and troubleshooting
- Working closely with customers and the implementation team to deliver successful implementations
- Supporting University Advancement systems
- Supporting Facility Management systems
- Supporting Boston College Police Department / Public Safety systems
- Supporting Auxiliary Services systems
- Supporting Athletics and Campus Recreation systems
- Supporting Document Management system
- Supporting other university departments as needed
- Systems Administration
- Project Management
- Participating in team and stakeholder meetings to discuss project updates, activities and issues
- Responding to issues in a timely manner, including for critical issues during off-hours
