The right candidate will be a proven producer responsible for covering institutional investors, providing timely colour and actionable ideas, and partnering with banking to capture, structure and distribute new issuance.
The position can be located in either Charlotte, NC or NYC office location.
Role Objectives :
- Provide in-depth institutional sales coverage for high yield bonds, cross-over credits and new issues.
- Deliver relevant trade ideas to meet clients’ objectives.
- Capture riskless and strategic trading opportunities and provide timely market colour.
- Institutionalize client relationships by delivering the bank’s full leveraged finance platform, including trading, credit analysis, syndicate and other internal thought leaders.
- Provide market / credit colour necessary for risk management of trading desk.
- Foster dialog between syndicate and clients to promote idea exchange and reverse inquiry generation.
- Recruit, develop and mentor junior talent.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction.
