What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Jobma?
Responsibilities:
-Drive continual improvement of Membrane products through process development and design changes resulting in high performance, process robustness and cost effectiveness.
-Daily management of technology development with respect to quality and process characterization, on time delivery, inventory, and productivity.
-Drive consistent process controls and work with cross-functional team for technology transfer to manufacturing.
-Problem identification, root cause analysis, and countermeasure development, verification and implementation.
-Disposition of non-conforming material. Generate and submit ECOs for manufacturing related changes.
-Be a back-up for other R&D associates in the development of new technologies.
Required:
2-3 years experience
-BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent. Hands-on experience working in a R&D and/or manufacturing environment a plus. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
-Ability to document and communicate technical details clearly.
-Ability to work in cross-functional teams as well as independently.
-Ability to adapt quickly to new projects and challenges.
-Creative thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills.
-Ability to multi-task. Willing to work overtime as needed.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
