Job Summary:
The Water Flow Test Rig Technician is responsible for the accurate and reliable operation of water flow test rigs, ensuring the integrity of test results and the safety of personnel and equipment.
This role involves setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting test rigs, as well as collecting, analyzing, and documenting test data.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation:
Set up and configure water flow test rigs according to established procedures and test specifications.
Operate test rigs to conduct water flow tests, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
Monitor test rig performance during operation, identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions.
Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine maintenance on test rigs, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment malfunctions, referring more complex issues to qualified technicians.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect and record test data accurately and systematically, using appropriate instruments and methods.
Analyze test data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
Prepare reports summarizing test results and findings.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations related to the operation of water flow test rigs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Other Duties:
Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Experience in water systems, testing, or related fields is preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in operating water flow test rigs and related equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of water systems, hydraulics, and related principles.
Certifications/Licenses: Any relevant certifications or licenses may be required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
