We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Account Manager for our Inside Sales team in the Engineering industry. This role is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant, fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial part in driving our business growth. As a Consulting Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our key accounts, providing excellent customer support, and working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, customized engineered products to our clients. You will also be responsible for estimating costs, managing projects, and utilizing our ERP system for efficient operations.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Account Manager for our Inside Sales team in the Engineering industry. As a Consulting Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our key accounts, providing excellent customer support, and working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, customized engineered products to our clients. You will also be responsible for estimating costs, managing projects, and utilizing our ERP system for efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts by building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Estimate costs and prepare sales proposals for customized engineered products.
- Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet the client's specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer support, resolve any issues that arise to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize our ERP system for efficient operations and accurate record-keeping.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and understanding their needs.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional materials.
- Monitor and report on sales performance analytics.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay updated with the latest industry trends.
- Associates degree in Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in estimating, customer support, and managing key accounts.
- Strong knowledge of engineered products, customization, and custom manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with an ERP system.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the engineering industry.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
