Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for finance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic Consulting Accounting Assistant to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis.
Responsibilities
As a Consulting Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
- Processing accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.
- Preparing and completing journal entries.
- Conducting detailed research and analysis of financial data to help the company make informed business decisions.
To be considered for the Consulting Accounting Assistant position, you must possess the following
- Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred at minimum
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
