Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Process invoices, credit memos, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and databases.
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for review by management.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, providing necessary information and documentation.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in laws, and new technologies that may impact the company’s accounting processes.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data entry.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent data entry skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
