We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounting Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial and accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our company's financial operations. This role involves working closely with the finance team and other departments to implement financial policies, develop financial reports, and maintain a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing accounting and a strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.

Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounting Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial and accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our company's financial operations. This role involves working closely with the finance team and other departments to implement financial policies, develop financial reports, and maintain a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing accounting and a strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting operations including the general ledger system, financial reporting, and 3-way match process.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Develop periodic reports, financial statements, and forecasts for management.
- Prepare and analyze the monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports.
- Work with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Review and process expense reports and receipts.
- Develop and implement effective internal controls to enhance accuracy of company's reported financial results.
- Work closely with external auditors during financial and operational audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Use SAP and Oracle systems to streamline accounting functions and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP and Oracle.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Experience with 3-way match process, ledger entries, and income statement preparation.
- Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
