We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our team in the Pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will be directly involved in the development of automation systems to improve our pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Please apply if you meet the requirements below!

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated systems to improve efficiency and productivity in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
• Develop hardware design specifications and database design specifications for automation systems.
• Carry out troubleshooting and problem-solving activities on automation systems to ensure their optimal performance.
• Conduct risk and failure mode effects analysis for automation systems.
• Develop and manage project plans, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Ensure all automation systems adhere to industry standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of automation systems.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technology and incorporate them into our processes where applicable.
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of hardware design specifications and database design specifications.
• Excellent understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and other regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with process control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS.
• Experience with risk and failure mode effects analysis.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A continuous learner with a passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in automation technology.
