Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, strong technical leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Solution Design & Implementation
Architect, design, and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance Azure solutions.
Provide guidance on Azure best practices and patterns for applications, infrastructure, and security.
Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to define solution requirements and deliver results.
Act as the technical lead for Azure-related projects and mentor team members.
Migration & Modernization
Design and oversee the migration of on-premises workloads and applications to Azure.
Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems using Azure services and tools.
Performance Optimization
Monitor Azure resources to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
Security & Compliance
Ensure Azure solutions comply with security, governance, and compliance standards.
Implement Azure security controls, including identity management, network security, and encryption.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and trends to drive innovation.
Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as an Azure Architect or similar role, with expertise in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions.
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and DevOps.
Strong experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Bicep.
Hands-on experience with Azure migration strategies, modernization, and hybrid cloud solutions.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VNETs, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute) and security principles (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault).
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS).
Experience implementing monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Azure certification, such as
Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
