We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Consulting Departmental Applications Analyst to join our Tech Services team. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our business by providing expert advice on the design, development, and implementation of various departmental applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, a keen analytical mind, and a passion for problem-solving. Responsibilities

As a Consulting Departmental Applications Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include

• Collaborating with various departments to identify, analyze, and document business requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing applications.
• Designing, developing, and implementing departmental applications to ensure they meet business requirements and adhere to software development standards.
• Providing expert advice on the selection, design, justification, implementation, and business use of information systems.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting application issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
• Developing and maintaining documentation for system procedures, user guides, and technical manuals.
• Conducting regular reviews of system design, program code, and other related documentation.
• Assisting in the development and execution of user training programs.
• Managing relationships with vendors and overseeing the implementation of new systems or enhancements.
• Staying abreast of developments in the field of technology and incorporating this knowledge into your work.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Consulting Departmental Applications Analyst, candidates must have

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Tech Services industry.
• Extensive knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis.
• Proficiency in Reporting and other relevant software.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations.
