We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum OB/GYN to join our dynamic medical team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional healthcare services to our patients, particularly in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on patient lives. The successful candidate will be required to work on a locum basis, providing flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of clinical settings.

Responsibilities
As a Locum OB/GYN, your primary responsibilities will include
- Providing high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to our patients, including prenatal care, delivery, postpartum care, and gynecological surgeries.
- Consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conducting routine check-ups to detect any potential health issues, such as infections, STDs, infertility issues, or cancers.
- Advising patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, providing them with the necessary education and resources.
- Responding to emergencies promptly and effectively, using your expertise to make critical decisions that could impact patient lives.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology, and implementing new practices and procedures as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring that all information is updated and accessible for future reference.
To be considered for the role of Locum OB/GYN, candidates must possess the following qualifications
- Must be Board Certified
- Must be Wisconsin licensed or have IMLC
- Must have an active BLS and DEA
Shift Clinic and Hospital On Call 24-hour shift
Patients per day 4
Beds in Dept 10
Deliveries per year 250
Cases
- Cover GYN ED emergencies
- Scheduled/unscheduled C-sections
- 4 RNs
- 5 MAs
- 1 APP
