We are seeking a dynamic and driven Consulting Office Assistant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual with a knack for juggling multiple tasks at once. This role will provide administrative support to our consulting team, helping to streamline operations and improve efficiencies. The role involves a high level of interaction with multiple departments, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. The Consulting Office Assistant will be instrumental in driving our mission of delivering superior service and solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of various consulting projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and processing purchase orders.
  • Oversee inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
  • Coordinate scheduling for consulting team members, including arranging meetings, travel, and accommodations.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on project status, inventory levels, and purchasing activities.
  • Liaise with various departments to facilitate communication and streamline operations.
  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposals for clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Contribute to the improvement of operational procedures and processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, inventory control, and scheduling.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
