We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in the automotive supplier industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and has experience consulting, as you will be essentially taking a holistic view of the environment resulting in recommendations of best practices that are needed. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on a range of cybersecurity issues, helping to protect our systems and data from potential threats. This role will require a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, as well as experience in vulnerability testing and ethical hacking.

Responsibilities

As a Consulting Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will

• Provide expert cybersecurity advice and support to our clients in the energy sector, helping them to understand and manage their cybersecurity risks.
• Conduct vulnerability testing and ethical hacking to identify potential weaknesses in our clients' systems and networks.
• Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies and solutions, tailored to our clients' specific needs and circumstances.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on cybersecurity best practices, helping them to strengthen their defenses and respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, and use this knowledge to inform your advice and recommendations.
• Work closely with other members of our team to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity services to our clients.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably within the energy sector.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in vulnerability testing and ethical hacking.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk management, threat modeling, incident response, and data protection.
• Excellent consulting skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice to clients on complex cybersecurity issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, and to use this knowledge to inform your advice and recommendations.
• A degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information security, would be advantageous.
