Responsibilities
- Lead the field assurance activities for neurovascular devices, including the identification and evaluation of potential product issues in the field.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and develop corrective and preventive actions for identified product issues.
- Review and analyze product performance data, customer feedback, and post-market surveillance data to identify trends and potential product risks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including FDA, ISO, and MDR requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with the R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to implement product improvements and ensure the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to other team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in audits and inspections as a subject matter expert in neurovascular devices.
- Prepare and present reports on product performance and field assurance activities to senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on cardiovascular and neurology devices.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, ISO, and MDR regulations and standards related to medical devices.
- Proven experience in risk management, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to various audiences.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification is a plus.
