Job Details
Schedule
Monday – Friday 8 hour day rounding
Qualifications
- Board-eligible or board-certified in thoracic surgery
- Extensive experience in a surgical practice setting, including general thoracic, esophageal, and pulmonary/cardiac thoracic surgery
- Exhibits expertise in a range of minimally invasive thoracic surgical procedures
- Demonstrated experience with robotic procedures
- Esophageal and lung experience is a MUST
- Experience performing surgery to repair a damaged esophagus, open or remove a tumor in the chest, repair a lung affected by a tumor or cancer, or reconstruct a breast after cancer
- Level 1 trauma center, a certified stroke center, a chest pain center certified with PCI, and sepsis center.
- Residencies include general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, ENT, and family medicine.
- The OR has large operating suites including a year-old Seimens hybrid operating room and the cardiac catheterization lab has a dedicated peripheral suite
- 1 Advanced Practice Provider for the office and 2 separate Advanced Practice Providers
