We are looking for a dynamic and experienced 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent position on the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production operations, ensuring that our manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all production and operational processes during the 1st shift.
• Ensure the safety, quality, and quantity of production.
• Lead a team of production workers and ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Implement performance management systems, including individual assessments and team performance reviews.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
• Work closely with the management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems, and to follow through with implementation.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.
• Train new employees on equipment operations and work procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.
• Advanced skills in MS Office and data analysis software.
• Deep knowledge of production management.
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Proven track record in a leadership role, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Experience in performance management and team development.
• Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Logistics, or related field is preferred.
