We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our shaped charge manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of safety and environmental plans in alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Build and manage a stable, capable production team, providing coaching and direction as needed.
- Monitor and analyze build quality, using error tracking and field feedback to guide improvements in the production process.
- Develop and manage operational plans focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S.
- Support cost control through process reliability, efficient resource use, and reducing assembly errors.
- Coordinate labor and production activities with internal teams and ensure alignment with operational schedules.
- Apply and uphold consistent HR practices in accordance with company policy and labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with all ATF regulations and other applicable industry standards.
- Assist in managing facility budgets and monitor expenditures against forecasts.
- Partner with Supply and Logistics teams to ensure material availability, address product concerns, and support root cause investigations.
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation, including SAP entries for inventory and work orders.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide clear direction to the production team.
- Offer both verbal and written communication to support team performance and operational clarity.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of production operations, safety compliance, and continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and solid data entry/reporting skills.
- Experience handling explosives and other hazardous materials preferred
