You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and ensuring legal compliance. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Accountant, your key responsibilities will include
- Review, reconcile, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources using advanced Excel functions.
- Audit daily load activity, working closely with operations to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Research and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with clients and field operations.
- Support new client onboarding, aligning client needs with our system capabilities.
- Accurately bill customers according to their unique specifications.
- Generate and distribute monthly statements for contract carriers.
- Validate rate calculations based on multiple data fields and contracts.
- Analyze and process driver payroll involving complex pay structures and differential calculations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Accountant position should possess the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent progressive experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
- Analytical mindset with strong numerical aptitude.
- Highly accurate, consistent, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
