Our company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is perfect for a highly motivated professional who is ready to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including month-end close, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, P&L, and depreciation. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include

• Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and submitted on time.
• Managing and maintaining the company's fixed asset register, including regular audits and reconciliation.
• Preparing and recording accruals and prepaids in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyzing Profit & Loss statements, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Calculating and recording depreciation for all company assets.
• Collaborating with other finance team members to streamline and improve processes.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Participating in financial audits and providing necessary information to auditors.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the Permanent Accountant position, candidates must possess the following

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the finance industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, particularly related to month-end close, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, P&L, and depreciation.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A professional accounting certification (such as CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred but not required.
