Are you a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a knack for numbers? We are on the hunt for an exceptional Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic Accounting Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a consultative role, assisting various departments in our organization with their accounting needs. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions.
Responsibilities :
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to :
1. Providing accounting and financial services to various departments within the organization.
2. Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
3 Working closely with the financial manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
4. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.
5. Conducting detailed audits to ensure accuracy of financial documents and procedures.
6. Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Clerk role should possess the following :
1. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, and accounting software systems.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
