Is your background a match?
- 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role with Yardi experience OR experience working with a property management company
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, month-end procedures, and reconciliation techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of data accurately and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred (we will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and month-end closing
- Prepare regular reports of payment activities and keeping accurate records of all transactions
- Perform monthly reconciliations of all payable accounts and resolving any discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of all company expenses
- Utilize accounting software such as Yardi and Quickbooks to track expenses and process payments
- Assist with financial audits by providing necessary information and answering auditors' questions
- Participate in the implementation of new systems and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function
