We are on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can hit the ground running, take charge of the Accounts Receivable department, and streamline our financial processes with the utmost efficiency. This position requires a combination of financial acumen, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the marketing industry.
Responsibilities
As an Accounts Receivable Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include
- Overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department which includes invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
- Implementing and maintaining a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Reconciling monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfilling tax-related requirements.
- Assisting with audits and special financial projects as required.
- Managing a team of Accounts Receivable staff, ensuring they are adequately trained, and their work is regularly reviewed.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve and streamline procedures.
- Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Working closely with the management team to create budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Using Great Plains software to manage financial transactions and generate reports.
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor role should possess the following qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong experience with Great Plains software and Netsuite preferred.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
- Proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
