We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aerospace Manufacturing Controller to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading company's finance and accounting functions, where you will play a critical role in the financial management and strategic planning of our aerospace manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance and accounting, with a deep understanding of the aerospace manufacturing industry and government agencies.

Responsibilities

As an Aerospace Manufacturing Controller, your responsibilities will include

• Overseeing the financial operations of our aerospace manufacturing unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Developing and implementing strategic financial plans to support the growth and profitability of our aerospace manufacturing operations.
• Conducting financial audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and government regulations.
• Managing financial risks and implementing risk management strategies to protect the financial health of our aerospace manufacturing operations.
• Developing financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborating with other departments to drive continuous improvement in our financial operations and manufacturing processes.
• Leveraging your expertise in ERP systems, specifically JD Edwards and SAP, to optimize our financial management processes.
• Liaising with government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and secure funding for our aerospace manufacturing operations.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Aerospace Manufacturing Controller role will have

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a financial management role in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning.
• Proven experience in financial auditing and risk management.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of the aerospace manufacturing industry and government agencies.
• Strong experience in corporate finance and internal controls.
• A track record of driving continuous improvement in financial operations and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically JD Edwards and SAP.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
