Responsibilities
- Overseeing the accounts payable process for multiple locations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
- Managing vendor relationships, resolving any invoice discrepancies, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Preparing and submitting periodic financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts payable reports.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes and systems, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
- Participating in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for accounts payable transactions.
- Continuously staying updated with industry trends and regulatory changes that may affect the accounts payable process.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience managing the accounts payable process for multiple locations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
