Responsibilities

As an Application Development Manager, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. These include

• Leading a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software applications.
• Ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Overseeing the entire application development process, from initial concept to final deployment.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implementing and maintaining REST APIs and Microservices.
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Providing technical guidance and coaching to the development team.
• Continuously researching and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
• Proven experience as an Application Development Manager or similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and other relevant technologies.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
