Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of accounts receivable, including invoice generation, payment collection, and record keeping.
- Implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies for accounts receivables to ensure adherence to the company's financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contact customers regarding outstanding account balances and arrange for payment resolutions.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries related to accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of billing and collections.
- Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions, preparing reports on findings for management.
- Participate in annual audits, providing necessary information and explanations to auditors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on payment collections.
- Proven experience in the Hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance professionals.
- Ability to work independently, manage large amounts of data, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
