We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to head our Architectural department. This exciting role involves overseeing all aspects of our operations, from strategic planning and project management to team leadership and resource allocation. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be a key figure in driving our company's growth, innovation, and success in the engineering industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's business goals.
• Direct and oversee all projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Lead, inspire, and manage a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Continuously evaluate and improve our engineering processes, systems, and methodologies, driving efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment and synergy across the company.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively, including budget, manpower, and equipment.
• Stay abreast of latest developments in the engineering industry, incorporating new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the architectural industry, specifically needing experience in Chapel Hills, NC.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
• Excellent networking skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
• Passionate about innovation, with a keen interest in staying abreast of latest industry developments.
