Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in reconciling bank accounts and monitoring cash flow.
- Help manage journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Contribute to variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecasts.
- Assist with tracking expenses and revenues related to property management, leasing, and development.
- Aid in ensuring accurate rent rolls, lease accounting, and tenant payments.
- Collaborate with property managers, developers, and senior leadership to provide financial insights.
- Support corporate accounting functions.
- Assist with corporate allocations and entries.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong knowledge of real estate accounting practices (preferred not 100% necessary)
- Proficiency in accounting software (RealPage, strong Excel, QuickBooks).
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Familiarity with real estate-specific metrics.
- CPA certification (preferred but not required)
- Possess strong leadership, supervisory and management abilities.
- Has excellent critical thinking as well as analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5 years of accounting experience
