As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be joining a dynamic and fast-paced legal team, working on a variety of complex and challenging cases. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation, from case inception through trial or resolution. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Provide legal advice and counsel on complex legal matters related to professional liability, labor and employment, casualty, construction defect, general liability, and coverage.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in the best interest of our clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive legal approach to client representation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional client service.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on professional liability, labor and employment, casualty, construction defect, general liability, and coverage.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Proven experience in handling all aspects of litigation, from case inception through trial or resolution.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve disputes.
