Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on a wide array of corporate matters, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, capital markets, venture capital, and private equity.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide informed legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Represent the firm and its clients in meetings, negotiations, and court proceedings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Stay updated on current trends, laws, and regulations in corporate law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law, specifically in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, capital markets, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
