Description We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong interest in estate planning and business law. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney who is eager to grow professionally while providing excellent service to clients.
Responsibilities
Assist with drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
Support the administration of estates and trusts, including probate matters.
Provide legal advice to clients regarding estate and business planning strategies.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and handle smaller, independent cases.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in estate and tax laws.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and offer clear, actionable guidance.
Contribute to the firm’s commitment to professional development and community involvement.
Qualifications
Admission to the Indiana Bar (required).
1-3 years of legal experience in estate planning or related areas (preferred).
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both independently on smaller matters and collaboratively on larger projects.
A passion for estate planning and business law.
