We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with experience handling complex civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have strong advocacy skills, the ability to manage a caseload independently, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and collaborate with partners and colleagues.
- Manage case deadlines, client communications, and litigation strategy.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active Michigan bar license.
- 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, municipal law, or general liability.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, and courtroom proceedings.
