The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in public Audit and experience leading audits is required.

CPA a plus but not required.

Are you a seasoned Audit professional with 5 years? We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven, and detail-oriented Audit Senior to join our growing firm. As an Audit Senior, you will be a crucial part of our team, helping us ensure the financial integrity of our clients. You will play a significant role in leading and executing audits and providing expert advice to our clients. This is a permanent role that offers opportunities for professional growth and development while working in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to

• Planning and executing audits in accordance with accepted accounting standards.
• Reviewing and preparing financial statements and audit reports.
• Conducting research on complex audit and tax issues and providing solutions.
• Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the audit process.
• Providing tax advisory services to clients.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in the development of audit plans and risk assessments.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current audit and tax practices and legislation.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in public accounting, specifically in audit and tax.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and current financial reporting trends.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ProSystem Engagement a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A high level of integrity and professionalism.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
