We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly qualified, and passionate Associate Defense Attorney to join our prestigious legal team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on medical malpractice defense litigation, providing top-notch legal services to our clients. Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to

• Representing healthcare professionals and institutions in medical malpractice defense litigation.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
• Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and paralegals to manage caseloads efficiently.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to medical malpractice and healthcare.
• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are adequately protected.
• Participating in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Associate Attorney position should possess the following qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Exceptional knowledge of federal and state laws related to healthcare and medical malpractice.
• Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable outcomes.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
