The Process Automation and Controls Engineer will handle designing, programming, testing, and commissioning control systems for automation projects. You’ll work with clients to understand their needs and collaborate with various teams to deliver solutions that boost efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance safety. We're looking for someone with solid experience in PLC programming, HMI design, process instrumentation, and control systems integration.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in process automation, control system design, and programming.
- Proficient in PLC programming (Rockwell ControlLogix/GuardLogix, Siemens Simatic S7, and others), HMI/SCADA solutions (PanelView, Inductive Automation, SIMATIC).
- Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and PID loops for sensors (pressure, flow, level, temperature).
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, control diagrams, and database reporting software.
- Willing to travel about 30% for on-site testing, commissioning, and support.
