Responsibilities
- Design, development, and testing of automation systems that will enhance operational productivity.
- Work collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff to understand the project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.
- Create innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
- Ensuring safety and reliability of automation systems.
- Provide high-quality, sustainable solutions for automation issues.
- Provide training and support to the technical team related to automation control systems.
- Participate in project planning and provide updates on work status regularly.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various PLCs including Rockwell, ABB, RSLogix, Allen Bradley.
- Proficient in the design and development of automation systems.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize their importance.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay abreast of industry trends and new technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of electrical standards and quality assurance.
